Full-time teaching at Eagle Hill School:

• School day is from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
• After 2 p.m., when the academic day ends, full-time teachers are involved in coaching, teaching an afternoon activity (i.e. cooking, drama, photography), or proctoring study halls
• All full-time faculty members have a two-week winter and two-week spring break (usually, the last two weeks of March)
• Each new full-time teacher is assigned a veteran Master Teacher as a mentor.

The Permanent Substitute/Support Teacher plays an integral role in the instructional program by helping to provide high-quality instruction that meets the needs of each child.  The Support/Substitute teacher is responsible for implementing lesson plans created by classroom teachers for use when they are not in class. When not substituting, the Permanent Substitute/Support Teacher may be assigned to specific classes to serve as a classroom aide.

Accepting Applications for a Business Office Associate

The Business Office Associate (BOA) is responsible for assisting in the overall Best Practice operation of the EHS Business Office and for specific key functions. The key functions include accounts payable, accounts receivable and other administrative office tasks as needed. This is a part-time position of approximately 20 – 30 hours per week (days are flexible), paid on an hourly basis.

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with all relevant stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High level of discretion due to confidentiality with regard to key tasks.
• High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of Accounting Software program strongly preferred.
• Ability to show initiative and be independent, combined with the ability to work well as part of a team
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
