Tuition Information

Foundations Program

Foundations Program: Tuition for the 2019-2020 academic year is $45,450. Tuition covers all program expenses except for SchoolMed fees (only applicable if medication needs to be taken during the school day).

Tuition and fees are payable in the following manner: 10% of tuition and fees due upon a student’s acceptance 50% of balance of tuition and fees due June 1 preceding start of academic year. All remaining tuition and fees due December 1 during academic year. Or, you may pay the balance of tuition and fees over a 10-month period (June - April) via Smart Tuition. Lower School

Lower School: Tuition for the 2019-2020 academic year is $69,075. Tuition covers all program expenses except for SchoolMed fees (only applicable if medication needs to be taken during the school day), certain sports and activities, and the purchase of a laptop. Some Lower School students may be required to purchase a laptop, depending on their class placement.

Tuition and fees are payable in the following manner: 10% of tuition and fees due upon a student’s acceptance 50% of balance of tuition and fees due June 1 preceding start of academic year. All remaining tuition and fees due December 1 during academic year. Or, you may pay the balance of tuition and fees over a 10-month period (June - April) via Smart Tuition. Upper School

Upper School: Tuition for the 2019-2020 academic year is $69,075. Tuition covers all program expenses except for the purchase of a laptop (required for Upper School students), SchoolMed fees (only applicable if medication needs to be taken during the school day), and certain sports and activities.

Residential Students

Residential: $91,500 for the 2019-2020 academic year (tuition, room and board). Tuition covers all program expenses except for the purchase of a laptop (required for Upper School students), SchoolMed fees (only applicable if medication needs to be taken during the school day), and certain sports and activities.

Additional tuition owed for the Residential Program must be paid in full. Any financial aid given by Eagle Hill School is only applicable to the Academic Program.

Summer Program

Summer Academic Program: Tuition for the program, which runs July 1-31, 2019 is $3,400 (before May 1, 2019) and $3,600 (after May 1, 2019).

If combined with the Summer Afternoon Activities Program, tuition is $5,000 (before May 1, 2019) and $5,400 (after May 1, 2019)

There is an additional fee for enrolling in the Social Language Group. The fee is $1,000 (before May 1, 2019) or $1,200 (after May 1, 2019)


AFFORDABILITY

We are aware that tuition is a significant expense for our families. In addition to applying for financial aid from the School, there are a number of other options families might consider when applying to Eagle Hill School.

  • Tuition is a tax-deductible medical expense for most families when children are diagnosed with learning disabilities. Please be sure to consult your personal tax advisor to confirm your eligibility.
  • Up to $10,000 from a 529 plan can be used towards a private school education per year. Funds from an HSA or FSA may be eligible to be used towards tuition.
  • Tuition paid by a generous benefactor directly to Eagle Hill qualifies as a tax-exempt gift to the family and allows the gift amount to exceed the gift tax limit.
  • Tuition may be paid evenly over a 10-month period using Smart Tuition.
  • Tuition does not only cover academics - but access to psychological and social services, a team of speech/language pathologists, and a full selection of athletic and non-athletic activities.
