Residential Trips

All of the trips are weekend trips leaving on Friday afternoon and returning on Sunday evening, with meals and lodging provided, whether it be tents or a motel. The trips are staffed by the dorm team as well as several other faculty from Eagle Hill.

There are four dormitory trips throughout the year. The first trip is the first weekend after moving into the dormitory. The trip takes students to Rhode Island to a state park and the students have the option of a ferry ride to Block Island to bike or a deep sea fishing trip.

The second and third trips are both skiing trips to Bromley Mountain in Vermont. The students stay at a little inn named the “Magic View Motel”. Breakfast is included every morning and we have lunch in the lodge with dinner at a local restaurant or pizza ordered out, students' choice.

Our final trip of the year is a canoeing trip through the Delaware River Gap. We raft one day and the second day we play paintball, with students versus the faculty.
