Star Wars: The Clone Wars by Eric Stevens

Submitted by: Grant

In the beginning of the book the Galactic Republic fights the Separatist Alliance because the Alliance is trying to take over all the planets. The whole galaxy is at war and even peaceful planets must choose sides.

The two Galactic generals are Obi Wan and Anakin. They defend the republic. They cut open droids to eliminate ground troops. The Ahsoka is also a Jedi in training that stays with Anakin because Anakin is her master.

At the end of the book, they shut off the force field so they can use the canons to blow up the tanks. This book was just a small battle in the war. I hope another book will come out soon.

I liked this book because it was exciting and one of my hobbies is Star Wars. I actually like the Clone Wars series better because it’s all new to me.

Star Wars: Beware The DARK SIDE by Simon Beecroft

by Jack

This book is not the story of Star Wars. It is sections of Star Wars. This is a section about Darth Maul. I like this character because he looks cool and he has a double light saber. He also has great fighting skills. He was important to the movie because he was a powerful opponent to the Jedi but he died.

Sith Lord: The Sith has many powers. The power is like electric force. The Sith lord’s name is Darth Sidios.

Anikan: He is Darth Vader. He has skill with a light saber and he is the most powerful Jedi knight. In the beginning, he is on the good side but then Dark Sidius turned him to the Dark Side. He also got married. Padme married Anikan.

General Grievous: He has four light sabers and he almost killed Obi Wan. General Grievous is half robot and half alien. He has two body guards and they are called Grievous Guards. He was important because he was the head of the clone wars.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kenny

by Jordan

Greg is a boy who is trying to keep a secret about his bad summer vacation.

In the beginning of the book, Greg and Rodrick are the main characters and they have many funny adventures. Greg writes in a diary (but he doesn’t like to call it that) and Rodrick likes to sneak into the diary. His big brother Rodrick knows the embarrassing summer vacation story and Greg has to keep him from telling everybody.

In the middle of the book, Greg and Rodrick’s parents are going away for the weekend for the first time and the boys will be home alone. They left Rodrick in charge but he takes advantage of this and throws a party. He has all of his friends over and he locks Greg in the basement. Greg peeks under the door and doesn’t get let out till the next day. Rodrick tells him that if he doesn’t help him clean up the mess, he would tell everybody Greg’s secret about last summer.

In the end of the book, Rodrick told everyone Greg’s secret about being stuck in the women’s bathroom for an hour and a half. He also is embarrassed when his band enters the talent show. Finally, Rodrick has a science project and his parents make Greg help him. The project is about whether plants sneeze and Rodrick ends up getting an A+. Even though Rodrick was such a rude and mean big brother, Greg had to admit that they made a good team in the end.

In December, towards the end of the book, their mom and dad found out about the party because they found pictures from Rodrick’s party on Mom’s camera. Rodrick was finally caught and his punishment was he couldn’t use his car or leave the house for a whole month.
