Athletics

Interscholastic athletics and physical education are an integral aspect of Eagle Hill School and designed to enhance fitness, promote skill development, and encourage a lifelong interest in sports activities.

All six to eight-year-old students participate in weekly organized physical education classes. Older students select from a range of physical education options, intramural sports, or interscholastic teams each season.

Team Sports

Our philosophy at Eagle Hill School is: If children want to play, they play. We promise that they will be placed with a team that suits their skills and abilities. In addition to building skill and stamina, team play allows students to experience camaraderie and develop sportsmanship qualities, a sense of fair play, leadership and enhanced self-esteem.

Our teachers are integral to this philosophy. They continuously recognize achievements, and show the leadership skills that are critical for self-improvement. All of the coaches at Eagle Hill are members of the Eagle Hill staff. They know your children and they maintain the learning philosophies of EHS on the sports field.

Team sports are offered in:

Soccer                         Field Hockey

Cross-Country             Basketball

Ice Hockey                  Cheerleading

Baseball                       Softball

Lacrosse                      Tennis

Eagle Hill participates in the Fairchester League and competes interscholastically at three levels.
