Applying to EHS

Eagle Hill School serves students ages 6 - 16, diagnosed with learning disabilities. We admit students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. Eagle Hill does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs and athletic and other school administered programs.

1. Interested parents should submit an application, current psychoeducational evaluations, school reports, and work samples (writing and math), along with any specialists' reports (i.e. speech and language, therapist, academic tutor). This information, coupled with the parents' interview, is required prior to the applicant's visit.

2. Parents are encouraged to visit the school once a child's file is complete. They will have the opportunity to tour the campus and observe Eagle Hill students and faculty in classes and non-academic activities.

3. Applicants are invited to visit Eagle Hill for a two day screening once an application has been filed, and reviewed. During the visit, the applicant will attend classes with a student host, join the host for lunch and activities and interview with the Director of Admissions.

Student acceptance into the program is accomplished on a rolling admission basis. Admission notification is sent to the family within a week of the applicant's visit and parents are requested to commit to enroll within two weeks of acceptance.

Parents having any questions, or wishing to initiate the admissions process for their child, should call Tom Cone, Director of Admissions at 203-622-9240 or e-mail for more information to Tom Cone.
